Castlevania Lords of Shadow DLC

A few concepts of the second Castlevania DLC. I must say the final look is quite far from the work we did but at least I wish all these concepts served to inspire other departments.

Esta es la ilustracion que hice para el concurso de ilustracion de games workshop de este año.
Por alguna razon la gente me esta diciendo que se ve demasiado clara la imagen y no deberia ser asi. Cosa de monitores supongo...Control + L...

This is the picture I did for the Games Workshop Ilustration competition of this year.
For some reason people is telling me that the image has low saturation and it shouldn't be that way. maybe it's a monitor thing.

Games Workshop, Golden Demon 1st Award

Here I leave a painting that I made for the Games workshop ilustration contest, Golden Demon. At the beginning I only made it as a " business card " because I knew the GW art directors would go to the event. Finally, I won the contest, and Jhon Blanche (the games workshop art boss) loved the painting and He seemed interested in a future proyect. So everybody happy :) I will let know how everything ends.

Aun que con un poco de retraso os dejo aqui una pintura que hice para el concurso de Ilustracion de Games workshop, Golden Demon . Inicialemnte la hice como tarjeta de presentacion ya que sabia que los directores de arte asistirian al evento y de aquella andaba interesado en hacer una colaboracion. El caso es que, cosas de la vida, gane el concurso, a Jhon Blanche ( jefazo de arte de Games workshop ) le gusto la pintura y mostraron su interes para un futuro proyecto. Todos contentos :)ya ire poniendo por aqui en que acaba la cosa.

Ok, has been long again...

I have been working for two years in the new 3d Castlevania, and I must say it has been a hard experience,awesome creativity stage but very very time consuming. This is the extended version of the trailer.

Pues eso, que han sido dos años de mucho estres y poco tiempo combinados con enormes dosis de creatividad y de trabajar con gente muy buena. Espero PODER poner concepts del asunto lo mas pronto posible.

NAVIDAD¡

Navidad...Os dejo el ultimo trabajo que he hecho en colaboracion con InkApache. Se trata de un estudio de color e iluminacion para la campaña de Navidad de Disney España. Felicidades desde aqui para la gente que curro en el spot en 3d, Dany k, Borja,Andrea...y por supuesto el Lyout a cargo de Salba.
La siguiente imagen es o queria ser la postal de navidad que queria hacer y que no me ha dado tiempo a terminar...como siempre :)

Ok, after making an inicial doodle created from an abstract shape, I´m tryng to apply an early texture concept and I want to see the first term figure clearer in relation to the Background. I'm looking forward to finishing the painting soon, but I hope the total time to make the work never exceed four hours. I love the stego...:)

AFTERHOUR

Por fin con algo de tiempo para dibujar¡¡ Uno de estos dos dibujos esta inspirado en esa imagen tipica de discoteca en la que la Gogo baja de su plataforma cansada y completamente borracha...Me apetecia dibujar cosas con un aire un poquito mas "urbano" y asi postear algo nuevo, algo mas fresco que se aleje de lo que subo en los ultimos tiempos que son casi todo bocetos o bocetos de piratas con demasiado aire fantastico.
Ultimamente estoy probando a bocetar directamente en el ordenador con el ART RAGE gracias a mi ultima adquisicion,ni mas ni menos que la ultima maravilla de WACOM, la CINTIQ 21 ( increible ). ART RAGE es un programita muy simple pero con muchisimas posibilidades que permite trabajar rapido con diferentes herramientas de una manera similar al PAINTER pero mucho mas sencillo. Despues me lo llevo todo a Photoshop para limpiarlo y darle el acabado final. Este es el resultado, por lo menos me ha motivado para dibujar mas.

Finally with time to draw¡¡ This drawings are inpired by the typical imagen of the disco-dancer leaving the dancefloor drunk and too early... I wanted to try out a different style departing from the last things I posted.
I´m lately trying to draw directly in the computer thanks to the last wonder of WACOM. the CINTIQ 21¡¡ really great.
ART RAGE is a easy to use program with many possibilities to speed up work with diferents tools,similar to PAINTER but easier. Then I finally the work with photoshop to clean up the painting .
This is the result. I´m really liking this working method
